Painting for me is about capturing the light whether its cool or warm colour, it defines the shapes that are created by the paint and the brush strokes.
That process of making marks on a two-dimensional surface gives me such pleasure and fulfillment as an artist.
It’s up to the viewer to decide if the art speaks to them and while they are deciding I’m on to the next painting.
